Attorney Angelo J. Puppolo, Jr., is currently the State Representative from the 12th Hampden District. He represents all of the Town of Wilbraham and parts of the City of Springfield and East Longmeadow. He was first elected to the State House in 2006.
Angelo is a member of the House Committee on Ways and Means; the Joint Committee on the Judiciary; and the Joint Committee on Consumer Protection and Professional Licensure. In 2008, Angelo was appointed by the Speaker of the House as a member of the State’s Special Commission on Homelessness.
Prior to his time in the House of Representatives, Angelo served as a member of the Springfield City Council for nine years. Angelo was elected President of the City Council in 2001, and Vice-President in 1999 and 2000. Angelo is a past Chairman of the Springfield Park Commission.
Angelo has a Juris Doctor from Western New England University School of Law, a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science from American International College, and an Associates Degree in Business Finance from Springfield Technical Community College.
Angelo is an Attorney at Law – licensed to practice in Massachusetts, Connecticut, and Maine. He is also a licensed Master Plumber.
Angelo is involved in many civic and charitable organizations including The Springfield Elks Lodge, Knights of Columbus, UNICO, Sons of Italy, ITAM Vets, Hampden County Deputy Sheriff’s Association, Director of the Lupa Zoo, Meadows Lodge of Masons, and Melha Shriners.
